We have had rare
opportunities to experience art from highly technical and
informational viewpoints. Past experience in medical illustration,
automotive illustration and photo retouching bring a large degree of
technical and anatomical accuracy to every new art project. Over 20
years of airbrushing allow us to create photorealism when it is
required. Open minded thought gained from teaching at the college
level allow us to appreciate what people like and adapt our skills
to please them. We are never overbearing, so we never try to force
our opinion on others, only giving suggestions when asked. We have
always offered different degrees of finish all the way up to museum
grade work, and have been recognized nationally for our article in
Walls and Ceilings Magazine to explain the training and skills
necessary to produce museum quality murals.

Martin also had the
opportunity to learn to draw mechanically in the pre-CAD era with
the traditional ellipse guides and French curves. These drawing
skills continue to serve Martin’s clients when producing the
required architectural and mechanical aspects of the museum quality
mural.
Martin has also had the rare opportunity to have been a medical
illustrator. Collaborating directly with medical publishers, medical
department heads and practicing physicians, Martin has created over
1,400 color and black & white medical illustrations.
WALLS AND CEILINGS MAGAZINE
Martin has recently
been the featured article in the January 2006 issue of Walls and
Ceilings Magazine. Entitled “In Search of the Museum Quality
Muralist”, he is interviewed in depth about what a museum quality
muralist’s qualifications are, the quality of work he expects of
himself, and assistance in shopping for and choosing a qualified
artist to handle your needs.
