requiring trompe l’oeil columns, arches, and soffits with
niches, symbols, children’s portraits, and oval murals
representing the changing seasons of the Tuscan landscape.
The specialty painting treatments covered the main axis of the
first and second floors of this private residence. Collectively,
the aged painting effects of the entry foyer, central hallway
and the family/living room created a truly aged look to this
public living space that no amount of luxury furniture could tie
